From Root to Shoot was initially written in 2013.  I began writing poetry mostly thoughts, feelings and generally whatever else came to mind, then along came the book that was inspired by two of my nephews.  This book is a story promoting self-belief for children and letting them know that whoever they are and wherever they come from they can achieve absolutely anything! The target audience is between 3-6, however this is a book for all children everywhere.  It was important for me to represent multiculturalism and diversification throughout the illustration and I was fortunate enough to work with an amazing illustrator and production company that really brought my imagination to life throughout each page of the story.  So remember, wherever you come from and whoever you are, anything is possible when you shoot for the stars!! xoxo
